In the coming years, the construction of a casino in Cyprus will be one of the most significant infrastructural projects, which will provide new opportunities for the development of island’s economy.

According to the representative of the Government Nikos Christodulides, it is planned: the company that wins the tender for the casino’s construction will be given a license for 30 years, as well as legal an exclusive right to conduct gambling on the island for 15 years. The legislative draft implies that the construction of casinos and hotels would correspond to international standards for five-star establishments. The complex should include at least 500 rooms of “lux” class, 100 gaming tables and at least 1,000 slot machines.

Cyprus Casino will enrich touristic infrastructure of the island and create new jobs.
