Prime Property Group plans to build 7 brand new residential properties in Greece this year

The Prime Property Group announced the development on 16 new residential complexes of various classes, sizes and design in Greece. One is already being built - Epirus Residence, and construction of 7 more will begin during this year. Why it's worth investing in the Greek real estate at the moment, which areas and projects are the most profitable - explains Revekka Polyxeni Klavdianou, the Head of bbf: Greece office.


«Our facilities are located in various but the most prestigious areas of Athens. This city is the perfect place to live, study, work and spend leisure, it's a major business and cultural center. Speaking about the best investment property types in Athens, ones should first of all pay attention to the apartments, believes Revekka. The apartments in small residential complexes remain the most popular option. Moreover, the greatest demand will be for new increased comfort housing, with well-thought-out layouts, modern architecture and design.


The district is extremely important. In the city center, housing is bought mainly for investment: main attractions are nearby, good transport accessibility, the tourists love to settle here, so this housing is in great demand for short-term rentals.


The suburbs are settled mainly by those who prefer to spend a lot of time at home or raise kids. These are districts for a good, high-quality life.


The southern part of Athens - everything that is close to the sea and beaches - is popular among wealthy buyers. This is a quite expensive property here for those who want to be closer to the water.


All the best infrastructure is located in the north - hospitals, schools, universities, shopping centres and so on. In addition to the locals, for whom it’s important to live next to the entire infrastructure, visitors from abroad who want to be in the thick of things also buy and rent property here. It’s the good option for those who’s looking to relocate.
The very north of Athens is considered a prestigious area - those who prefer large-scale houses, silence and nature like to settle here.
